I joined Medium one year ago and quit after two months.
At that time I was exploring so many online hustle ideas and Medium was one of them.
The interesting thing is that, I earned my first ever dollar on Medium.
In those two months, I did not even take it seriously and made only $70 with 1.4k followers.
At that time I thought It’s not worth it.I was putting effort but the progress was relatively slow.
But I was wrong.Now I realise that there were a lot of mistakes I was making at that time.I did not take it strategically and went directionless.
These were the things I realise should not have done.
- Irregular posts
- Less interactions
- Superficial comments
- No consistency
- No Strategy
And the most important thing, I quit after two months. Maybe I should have stayed and learned.
But this time, I am joining Medium after putting in so much thought along with a deep analysis.
